Ingredients
Pork Chop Ingredients
2tablespoonsgrapeseed oil, or olive oil for air fryer version
Pat pork chops as dry as possible. This is key to getting a good sear!
Season liberally on both sides with sea salt and pepper, pushing the seasoning into the meat.
Add grapeseed oil into a preheated non-stick skillet on medium-high heat until glistening.
Add pork chops and immediately press down all over with a spatula to make even contact with skillet.
Let pork chops go, undisturbed for 3-4 minutes and then flip. After 3 minutes on the other side, flip to edge side down and sear for 1 minute on each side. Remove and let rest on a plate.
Air Fryer Pork Chops Instructions
Preheat air fryer to 400 degrees for 5 minutes
Pat pork chops dry completely with a paper towel
Coat the pork chops with olive oil and season liberally on both sides with sea salt and pepper, pushing the seasoning into the meat
Cook pork chops in air fryer at 400 degrees for 12 minutes, flipping pork chops over after 6 minutes.
