This spinach and mushrooms pasta is as easy and delicious as it gets. This recipe is perfect for a busy weeknight meal and it only requires 5 simple ingredients!

Ingredients
8ozpasta , any type you prefer!
2 tbspolive oil
4-5garlic cloves, minced
1cupmushrooms, sliced
2cupsfresh spinach
fresh lemon juice and wedges, optional for serving
fresh basil leaves, optional for garnish
Instructions
Cook the pasta according to the package instructions. Drain and set aside.
In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
Add the sliced mushrooms to the skillet and cook about 5 minutes until they start to soften.
Add the fresh spinach to the skillet and cook for an additional 2-3 minutes until wilted.
Add the cooked pasta to the skillet and toss everything together until well combined; season with salt and pepper to taste.
Optional: Drizzle over lemon juice and serve with fresh lemon wedges and/or basil leaves.
