Ingredients
1log (16 oz)pre-sliced fresh mozzarella
3mediumfresh tomatoes, cut into rounds
¼cupfresh basil leaves, shredded
2tbspolive oil, for drizzling, plus extra for serving
3tbspbalsamic glaze, for serving
sliced crusty bread, optional for dipping
Instructions
Create the Candy Cane: On a large platter, alternate the mozzarella and tomato slices to form a candy cane shape.
Season and Garnish: Sprinkle salt and pepper over the slices. Drizzle over olive oil for added flavor, and generously sprinkle fresh shredded basil leaves on top of the candy cane.
