Ingredients
16ozpickle chips, drained
1cupcrushed pork rinds , or panko bread crumbs
1egg
½tspsmoked paprika, optional
salt and pepper, optional, to taste
ranch and hot sauce, optional, for serving
Instructions
Preheat your air fryer to 400 degrees F.
Place the crushed pork rinds or panko bread crumbs in a shallow dish; season with salt, pepper, and smoked paprika if using. Mix together 1 egg with 1 tsp water in another bowl.
Coat the pickles first in the pork rinds, then the egg wash, and finally back into the pork rinds; shake off any excess and transfer to a plate.
Arrange the pickles in a single layer in the air fryer basket; spray with avocado oil for extra crispiness.
Air fry for 8 minutes, then flip and cook an additional 5-6 minutes. Let cool and serve with ranch and hot sauce, if desired.
