Ingredients
2largehoney crisp apples, peeled and cored
2(10 oz) cansrefrigerated crescent roll dough
½cupbutter, unsalted
½cupbrown sugar
1tspground cinnamon
½cupcaramel sauce
Instructions
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.
Cut each apple into 8 equal wedges. Open crescent roll dough and separate into triangles.
Roll each apple slice in a triangle starting at the biggest end. Pinch to seal and place into a prepared baking dish.
Melt butter in a small saucepan over low heat. Stir in brown sugar and cinnamon until well combined.
Pour mixture over apple dumplings; bake in oven until golden brown, 40-45 minutes.
Let the apple dumplings cool, about 5 minutes. Drizzle over caramel sauce. Serve with a side of vanilla ice cream.
