These caramel apple dumplings are the best! Made with crescent rolls for ease and rolled up into sweet, cinnamon and apple pillowy treats. Topped with caramel sauce and best served with a big scoop of vanilla ice cream. This easy apple dumpling recipe is dangerously delicious!

As a little girl growing up in Pennsylvania with some seriously strong roots to the Pennsylvania Dutch; I don’t think that I remember a fall without apple dumplings. There were the trips to my great grandmothers house, visits to the orchard, and let’s not forget the annual Apple Dumpling Festival. We always left those outings with happy bellies and apple dumplings to go.

And then I remember my dad sitting down for breakfast the next morning, apple dumplings, vanilla ice cream and coffee in hand. This apple dessert is one of a kind that’s perfect for fall, but truly delicious anytime of the year. Apple dumplings can also be enjoyed for breakfast, lunch, or dinner!
