how to make 6-ingredient holiday pizza wreath

Prepare and Precook the Dough: Preheat your oven to 400 degrees F. Unroll the refrigerated pizza dough onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Shape it into a large circle by gently stretching the dough, leaving around an open center resembling a wreath. Prebake for 8-9 minutes.

Spread the Sauce: Evenly spread a layer of pizza sauce over the entire surface of the dough.

Add the toppings: Place the cherry tomatoes and mozzarella balls over the sauce, evenly spacing them around the wreath. Lightly press them into the dough to ensure they stick during baking. Drizzle the pesto sauce all around the wreath. Sprinkle over about half of the shredded basil leaves on top. Season with salt and pepper to taste.

Bake the Wreath: Place the baking sheet in the preheated oven and bake for 10-15 minutes, or until the dough is golden brown and the cheese is bubbly and slightly browned.

Garnish and Serve: Remove the wreath from the oven and let it cool slightly. Garnish with the remaining fresh basil leaves all around the wreath.
