How to make owl grilled cheese sandwich lunchbox
1. Cut about a quarter of both cheese slices to reserve for making the eyes, beak and cheese cut-outs. Place the remaining cheese inside the bread slices.
2. Spread about 1/2 tablespoon of butter on each slice of bread. Heat-up some butter on low and place the bread onto the skillet. Continue cooking until the bread is a rich golden brown, flipping once and press down lightly to help the bread stick to the cheese. **You can use a lid to cover for a few seconds to make the cheese melt faster without burning the bread**
3. After cooling, use the top of a drinking glass or circle cutter to cut a semi-circle shape slice from the top off the sandwich, forming the top of the owl’s head with points on each side. Place the sandwich on top of the grapes in main compartment of lunchbox. Form two circles to represent the owl’s eyes using the reserved white American cheese. Place candy eyes on top. Cut a triangle from orange cheddar cheese to form the owl’s beak.
4. In one side compartment place blueberries and clementine. In the other compartment add pretzel sticks and cheese cut-outs, if using.
