Cheddar Horseradish Pork Chops
Juicy pork chops with a creamy cheddar horseradish topping. These are delicious, easy to make with an air fryer version for extra crispiness. These pork chops pair well with roasted veggies and are ready to go in less than 30 minutes.
The inspiration behind these delicious and juicy pork chops was born from my addiction to Cheddar and Horseradish Pub Cheese. I can’t get enough of that stuff. Once you start, it’s so hard to put down and now the same can be said with this pork chop recipe.
There is a back story here. About a year ago it was difficult for me to eat anything relating to pork. Yes. Even bacon. It was a personal choice for me, but it also didn’t make my stomach feel great when I did. Then I met ButcherBox, and as cliche as it may sound, it changed everything! I truly believe that ButcherBox pork chops have me coming back for more now. Their pork chops are the reason we continue our membership. This recipe is perfection. Super tasteful, super simple…incredibly delicious!
We always make these Cheddar Horseradish Pork Chops with a roasted vegetable. Whether you pair this with green beans, carrots or even roasted radishes, the horseradish cream sauce is the perfect match for dipping. Pictured above is when we made these juicy pork chops with roasted shishito peppers, radishes and green beans.
For this recipe, we highly recommend that you pair the cheddar horseradish pork chops with our roasted carrot fries. With this punch of flavor in every dip, you won’t know whether you are dipping French fries or carrots into this creamy deliciousness. These roasted carrot fries are nutritious as they are delicious!

- freshly ground pepper
For the Horseradish Cream Sauce
How to make Cheddar Horseradish Pork Chops
- Pat pork chops as dry as possible. This is key to getting a good sear!
- Season liberally on both sides with sea salt and pepper, pushing the seasoning into the meat.
- Add grapeseed oil into a preheated non-stick skillet on medium-high heat until glistening.
- Add pork chops and immediately press down all over with a spatula to make even contact with skillet.
- Let pork chops go, undisturbed for 3-4 minutes and then flip. After 3 minutes on the other side, flip to edge side down and sear for 1 minute on each side. Remove and let rest on a plate.

Instructions for the Horseradish Cream Sauce
- Whisk together arrowroot powder (or flour) and 1/2 cup whipping cream in a saucepan until smooth.
- Cook over medium high heat and gradually add in remaining whipping cream, stirring constantly, until mixture thickens.
