  • cherry tomatoes
  • zucchini
  • garlic
  • toasted sesame oil
  • soy sauce
  • brown sugar
  • rice for serving

how to make easy chicken sausage and zucchini stir-fry

Heat toasted sesame oil in a large wok or skillet over medium-high heat. Add in onion, garlic and chicken sausage; cook until onions are translucent and chicken sausage is slightly browned, about 4-5 minutes.

Add the cherry tomatoes and zucchini slices to the skillet. Stir-fry 3-4 minutes until the vegetables are slightly tender.

Add in the soy sauce, brown sugar, and remaining sesame oil. Toss to combine. Season with salt and pepper to taste.

Stir in the cooked rice and serve immediately. Garnish with diced green onion, if desired.

Ingredients 

  • 3 tbsp toasted sesame oil, divided
  • 1 large onion, diced
  • 4-5 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 lb chicken sausages, sliced
  • 2 medium zucchinis, sliced
  • 1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved
  • ¼ cup soy sauce
  • 1-2 tbsp brown sugar, *2 tbsp for a more sweeter sauce
  • cooked rice, for serving
  • green onion, diced, optional for garnish

Instructions
