If there’s only one thing on the menu for breakfast, it has to be eggs in a basket. My kids go wild for this perfectly cooked egg inside a golden, buttery slice of toast every time. Easy to make and guaranteed satisfaction in the breakfast department!

Out of all the ways to prepare eggs, none is more fun than eggs in basket! There’s something so special and nostalgic about a perfectly fried egg nestled inside crispy, golden, buttery toast. This is by far our favorite breakfast recipe.

I enjoy making eggs in a basket for my kids because it takes me back to my own childhood in a way. I remember my mom making this buttery, toasty goodness after a sleepover or before my early morning swim meets.

This little piece of sunshine is so incredibly delicious and can instantly brighten any morning. Just ask my kids! Get ready for your new favorite way to serve eggs.
