To make these easy lemon garlic white wine chicken meatballs, you’ll need a few ingredients that you can get at almost any grocery store or even online!

Here’s what we are working with:

For the meatballs

  • ground chicken
  • garlic
  • fresh parsley
  • lemon zest
  • grated parmesan
  • panko bread crumbs
  • egg
  • onion powder
  • salt and pepper

For the lemon garlic cream sauce

  • olive oil
  • garlic
  • arrowroot powder or flour
  • white wine
  • chicken stock
  • lemon juice
  • greek yogurt

How to make baked chicken meatballs with lemon garlic sauce

  1. Preheat oven to 425 degrees
  2. Combine all ingredients in a bowl and mix gently. Use a cookie scoop or tablespoon to roll into 1.5-inch balls and place on a lightly oiled baking sheet.
  3. Cook for 18-20 minutes until nicely browned, flipping halfway. 
  4. Heat olive oil over high heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté for 1-2 seconds; add in the arrowroot powder or flour and mix well to coat the garlic. Add in the white wine, chicken stock and lemon juice; stir until the mixture is smooth.
  5. Add the Greek yogurt and season with salt and pepper to taste; stir well and let simmer for an additional 5 minutes. 
  6. Pour sauce over meatballs and serve with pasta and green beans if using.

for the meatballs

  • lb ground chicken
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • ¼ fresh parsley, finely chopped
  • zest of ½ lemon
  • ¼ cup grated parmesan
