This pineapple stuffing recipe was introduced to me by my husband’s family years ago over the holidays. It’s buttery, sweet, easy to make–and the perfect side for ham or turkey. Now I make this passed down tried and true recipe every year!

To make family-style pineapple stuffing recipe, you’ll need a few ingredients that you can get at almost any grocery store or even online!

Here’s what we are working with:

  • brown sugar
  • granulated sugar
  • butter
  • eggs
  • crushed pineapple
  • 6 slices white bread, cubed
  • cinnamon, optional to sprinkle over top before baking

how to make the best pineapple stuffing

Preheat your oven to 350 degrees F.

Combine sugar and butter in a large bowl, beat with an electric mixture until smooth.

Beat in the eggs until well combined. Stir in pineapple and fold in the bread cubes until bread is well coated.

Transfer the mixture to a slightly greased baking dish and spread it out evenly. Sprinkle over cinnamon, if desired. Bake in the preheated oven for 1 hour. Let it sit a few minutes to firm up before serving.

  • ½ cup granulated sugar
